Podcast playlists not loading on iPod Classic

I have an old but very functional iPod classic 160GB, and use iTunes on a Windows 10 desktop to organize and load content to the iPod. Both podcasts and music but more podcasts. A while ago iTunes began keeping music playlists and podcast playlists separate. But both kinds were accessible on the iPod menu Playlists link.

Just now the podcast playlists are not there on the iPod device, as far as I can tell. All the podcast content does seem to be there okay, but the organization is the raw Podcasts list. I really like having a playlist that I set up in advance and gives some variety while driving.

I've tried using Setting on the iPod to choose menu lists, but to no avail. Adding the Playlists link from Music to the Main Menu does nothing for the podcast playlists.
