How to remove transparency from finder windows?

I wish to remove the transparency bug, (er, um, "feature") of Finder windows. Both Onyx and Tinkertool used to have a provision for this, but alas, no longer for HS 10.13.6.

Is there a Terminal command I can use to accomplish this, or some other workaround?

Thanks!

You can reduce transparency in System Preferences > Accessibility > Display. If it helps you.

Both Onyx and Tinkertool are known to cause issues as well.

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen as certain system caches, dynamic loader cache etc get cleared and

rebuilt. Log in and test, this will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

You can get a pretty good look at your system conf buy running this http://etrecheck.com/
