Change default save location

How do I change the default save location for documents I open in Outlook on the Mac? The folder Outlook Temp is ********, buried in long path. I am using Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.7.7 and most documents I want to save are PDFs; I am using Adobe Acrobat XI version 11.0.23.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Mojave Preview - No permission to Move a pdf file When I open a pdf from my Outlook mail, it opens in Preview, with a default Outlook Temp folder address. When I try to Move the pdf to the folder I actually want to save it in, I get the message, "The document could not be saved as____. You don't have permission." And yet when I open Get Info it says I have full permission to Read and Write. I talked to Apple Tech Support and they said that when a file is opened in Preview it hasn't really been saved anywhere, so you can't move it (?!?) which is more than a little stupid. So now I have to Duplicate it and save the duplicate, which is two steps instead of the one it used to be when we still had "Save As" in Preview (sigh) - and still is for most documents. Is there any more efficient way around this MacOS idiosyncrasy?

open downloaded files from Outlook, Mail How To automatically open downloaded files or open the enclosing folder from Outlook or Mail instead of download the file and then open the finder, locate the folder and then open the file. Taking in consideration that the recent option on finder, do not show the downloaded file to a iCloud folder on my Mac

Greetings,

Because Microsoft Office for Mac is a Microsoft Product, there is no additional information on Apple's website about how to change the save location. However, I was able to do a Google Search for 'change the default save location in outlook for mac' and up popped the Microsoft Support Article.
