How to disable ios mail notifications from selected senders

Background:

- i use iphone mail app linked to my corporate exchange email account

- i get certain "event alert" type of emails very frequently (500 per day from around 10 senders), which i would like to keep in inbox but don't want any notifications on my mobile.

Is there a way to set up a "blacklist" that blocks email notifications from certain senders? I understand a VIP list is supposed to override other mail notifications, and tried to put these senders in the VIP list but disabled the VIP list notification - this doesn't work.

If you don't want to be notified about them, that tells me they're not really all that important.

I understand. I have to deal with that to.

The better solution would be to set up a rule on your corporate mail system that will automatically move those messages to another folder. You won't be bothered with notifications, but the messages will still be accessible and as an added bonus, they won't clutter your inbox.

Thanks. Yes i have already set the rules to automatically route the emails to a specific mail folder on my PC outlook client. The issue is on iOS mail, the notification still shows up and the email stays in the inbox for maybe 30 secs before iOS mail syncs with outlook and then drops the mail into respective folders.
