Audio skipping / studdering

I have been experiencing a lot of studdering and skipping while listening to Podcasts and music. My phone (iphone 6s) has the most up to data software. Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions?

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.4.1

This is exactly my issue! All of the music has been downloaded to my phone, so technically no network connection is needed. When my phone goes on a lock screen, the music begins to skip and if I hit my home button (as if to turn it back on, but don't fully open it) the skip stops. Once it goes back dark, the skipping starts again. It happens daily, especially when I listen through headsets.

Having the same problem for months now. Happens regardless of streaming, network, or downloaded audio. I was hoping iOS 12.0 would resolve. It hasn't. The issue persists. As equally frustrating is that thousands of users have posted this problem and I've yet to see Apple acknowledge or attempt to resolve (please provide a link if I'm wrong). I don't think they give a sh*t. Which is sad.

I'm having the same issue but with all streaming video. Doesn't matter what app i'm using it drops audio frequently throughout the media. I purchased a movie from iTunes and it does the same thing too. I have the apple TV hardwired to my network using all gigabit networking equipment.

I have a second Apple TV at my work place on that does the same thing just not as frequent.
