How do I get my contacts transferred to my new iPhone

My contact were in iCloud but they won’t go over to my new device, help

Go to Settings/Your Name/iCloud, make sure you are signed in and Contacts syncing is on. Have you allowed time for the sync to complete?

Try Settings/Your Name/iCloud and slide off Contacts syncing. Wait a few minutes and then slide syncing on.

Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
