How to stop using names from Contacts in autocorrect

iOS autocorrect seems to use names from my Contacts in the autocorrect suggestions. I've never once used this and, in fact, it causes massive problems with what it autocorrects because of it.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Contacts app - alphabetical hell Here is hoping that iOS 16 and Ventura fix the Contacts - business name problem. There are two ways to fix it but no way to fix it on your phone once you've added a contact. What am I talking about? If you add a contact on your phone, the personal name will be in the alphabetical list instead of a business name. Unless... You add 'only' the business name first and save. Then edit again and add the personal name. If you have already made a contact with the personal name listed - you can fix this only on your Mac. So strange since contacts are more likely to be added when you're on your phone. Thus remember number one here or to fix this on you Mac when you get back to your Mac. In preferences there is an option to list by last name or first name but none to list by business name. How silly is that? Although as I said you can go into each contact/edit and check off the box as a business and it will flip. This truly is why my contacts list is not only a mess, it's why I still try and use a paper booklet - daytimer. How silly is THAT? Come on Apple. This one should have been done in the 1900's.

Iphone Contact Screen reloads 3-4 times while editing notes/phone numbers While I'm in my Contacts - trying to add Notes, edit a phone number, or an address - I find that the screen re-loads several times before finally settling down to allow me to make edits. Any correlation to the fact that I have 3 areas under "Linked Contacts" (My Company directory/Gmail/iCloud)?

Try going to Settings

> General

> Keyboards

Scroll towards bottom

and turn Predictive off

I like predictive... I just don’t want to include the Contacts in the predictions.
