MBP 2017 Crackling sound coming from bottom Screen / Speaker area

Hello!

Have a 3.1ghz 2017 MBP (15 inch). I had issues with the speaker this spring, had it repaired in April. Today, while under some moderate load, the laptop itself started producing a disturbing crackling sound, almost like a crackling fireplace. I've recorded a video of it (link below).

I am displeased about this laptop. €3500 for a faulty piece of crap. My old 2011 MBP was good engineering. It lasted 6 years... this isn't even making it past one.

Update:

After some research and triangulation of the sound as well as what people have wrote on the forums and how this issue happened (when the MBP's fans were runing and it was hot), I believe the culprit is a faulty / loose end on the left heat-sink in the corner (right side when turned around).

Can anyone confirm this?
