Apple Wants to Make changes

I followed the advice provided on this forum using the software etrecheck.

It identified two adware files, one it removed the other it could not.

The message is

Launched script: /Library/LauchDaemons/com.TotalResultsDaemon.plist

Executable: /Library/Application Support/com.TotalResultsDaemon/TotalResults

It says that I have to remove it manually but I don't know how tp do this.

Could someone advise please

Regards

Hi David & Eric!

I've been having the same 'Apple Wants to Make Changes' issue and

in my Mac HD/Library/LaunchDaemons folder I find the following 4 files:

com.adobe.fpsaud.plist

com.google.keystone.daemon.plist

com.malwarebytes.HelperTool.plist

com.skype.skypeinstaller.plist

Which ones should I delete to eliminate this issue?

Thanks in advance,

John

They are all legitimate files. What do you see in Library/Application Support?

Download this program which was written by Thomas Reed, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. There is no reason to leave it installed once troubleshooting is finished. The free version doesn't update itself. If you need it again, you can download it again.
