How to turn off two factor authentication?
unbelievable that we don't have the option to turn off two factor. I had no idea all the places (such as simply ordering a movie) this would interrupt work and play. Let us decide how to best use our system. This is NOT customer friendly in any way. Big brother does not know best.
Apple does not allow it to be turned of for your safety & their liabilities.
Look Apple.
If you took a poll 99% of people would say how they use 2FA is up to them. If work deems it a need fine, but personal its up to us. Management can read between the binary 010.
Re: “… 2FA actively prevents me using my devices when I'm out of cell range … “
Can you possibly provide an example situation?
We can likely assist you w/ alternatives.
I don’t understand

This is unbelievable Apple, I agree with the negative comments above, it is most inconvenient for so many reasons. I should control my security not the company that sells me the product.
I agree 100% we should have a say so about HOW we protect our own devices
I am forced to use 2FA every time I simply try to update/download anything from the Apple Store smh. It should be the customer/user’s decision if they want to use 2FA, not forced on us
