I can't edit bookmarks in Safari. I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6. This is an administrator account, so no parental blocks. When I go to Bookmarks:Edit Bookmarks, nothing happens. Any ideas?

Have you tried disabling your Safari extensions?
Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

I contacted Apple Support and got some help ... the problem was a Safari extension I was using. Once we removed that, I could get to Editing Bookmarks.
Manage bookmarks
Click the Sidebar button
in the toolbar, then click the Bookmarks button
.
Control-click a bookmark or folder.
Choose from the shortcut menu to do any of the following:
Rename or edit a bookmark or folder.
You can also force click the name, or click and hold the name until it’s highlighted and then enter a new one.
Edit a bookmark’s description.
Copy or delete a bookmark or folder.
Create a bookmark folder.
See detailed folder contents.
To edit a bookmark’s description, double-click a folder in the sidebar, then Control-click the item and choose Edit Description.
You can also manage bookmarks by choosing Bookmarks > Edit Bookmarks.

I have Safari 12.0. I have MacOS 10.13.6. On Safari if I go to Bookmarks and select Edit Bookmarks it shows my bookmarks. When I click on a bookmarks folder the whole screen just goes crazy with a mix of graphics from my desktop all chopped up and text from this page even though I am trying to edit bookmarks on a different tab.
