Apple Music album artwork not showing?

I have the same issue too. Artwork won't display and music won't download. I've restored my phone several times in hopes that this would fix the issue, however it has ceased to prove useful. Very frustrating seeing as I am unable to bring my music with me wherever I go since I have very low data.

Hello Jameson. I tried your action. I even opened iTunes and cleared my library, the album artwork isn’t showing up even after doing a complete clean up and it is pretty annoying when it is a paid service and you don’t get the complete use of it.

I had the same issue and I’ve tried this. Now, my 2000+ album library and all my playlists are gone.. Everything disappeared from my phone!!! (..but surprisingly on my MacBook and on my iMac everything stayed as it was.) 😱

Anyways, these are issues that an extremely large amount of users are experiencing.

It's not clear whether it's got something to do with iOS 12, or not.

I really, really do hope that something will change, I myself am experience lots of issues with Music.

And it being a paid service and not too cheap either, it really is upsetting to say the least.

I'm the one who gave advice on here about it. Now I myself am back to NO artwork at all (on iPhone)

I’m having the same issue, and when I search music it shows the album cover but once I add it to my library it shows the generic music logo. I’ve restarted my phone multiple times and tried turning off the iCloud library many times. Even if I delete the album and retry, there is still no cover. This is incredibly frustrating.

I know I sound incredibly stupid asking this

But can you give me step-by-step instructions on how and where to go to click the iCloud settings I don’t know where to go

I have an iMac which has my iTunes on it it is running Mojave iOS 12 whatever the update is

I not only have no artwork on my phone

But also the artwork is not appearing in my iTunes on my iMac

On my phone I have over 133 GB of free space available

So memory is not a problem on my phone

I called Apple support last week

And all I do is keep getting an email saying they are working on the problem

I have the same problem too. I tried all of the suggestions above and now my iPhone 5s is updating to the newest iOS (12.1.2) and I really hope it will magically fix my issue. It’s not only the artwork not showing but I can't even download any songs at all. On my MacBook I have no issue with Apple Music. Same as all of you the bug started when I updated to iOS 12. Since then my Apple Music has been all sorts of messed up. I’ve literally tried everything. I has been really frustrating since I can't even download songs at this point (as I mentioned above). Did anyone solved this yet? Or does anyone know if Apple knows about this issue?

the issue isn’t with the phone, it’s an issue definitely in iTunes on the iMac

The issue was not with my iPhone X XS max

The issue was actually with my iTunes on my desktop iMac

When I import a song I cannot put any kind of cover art with it

The Apple support team and I run the phone together for a long time

A case has been open and they’re working on it but still no end in sight

I don’t have any issues when I’m putting art with any of the movies that I’ve imported

The issue is strictly with the music and all I get is a music note when I’m playing it back instead of any type of cover art

Again this is on my iMac that I’m having the issues with not the phone

i did what everyone said to do, which was turning the icloud music on and off and the first few times i did it it worked, but i did it again and now a majority of the artwork for ALL the music on my library is gone.

I'm having this exact same issue. but even when I restart my phone the album covers still don't show up. It's gotten to the point that even my playlist don't have a cover and every song/ album I've added lacks and album cover. I'm not sure what to do...
