Just got my brand new iPhone XS today and put it on my Belkin dual iPhone & iWatch charging stand (not the wireless one) and it repeatedly chimes the charging chime and does not stop until I unplug it from the charger? Is anyone else having this issue?
Husband and I both have these and I was trying to figure out how mine is still working and his doesn’t with our xs maxes. We figured out the solution tonight. I have a popsocket on mine and he didn’t. So the phone has to be tilted slightly forward and will stay charging. My popsocket was in just the right spot to space the phone away from the back bracket and cause the correct angle. He made his own version by adding a bunch of tape and a pen cap around the bracket to build up a spacer. Still moody and you have to be careful not to bump the phones once charging but they’ll charge. Hope this helps.

Needless to say that I'm facing the same. I just got off the phone to Belkin and they confirmed that the Valet dock isn't compatible with the XS. I've been told about the recently announced new (and expensive) dock releases and I was offered a 20% discount. Not what I would have like to hear...

Yes, updating my XS to 12.1 seems to have restored the Power Valet to oroper functionality for me.
For me, if I put the phone onto the dock WHEN it is unlocked, then it doesn't do the charge/chime on/off issue. It's not ideal, but at least it works. This to me really makes me feel like it's a software issue. Hopefully will get fixed soon.
Yes, me too. Same problem. iphone xs with Belkin iphone & Apple Watch stand. iphone xs charges fine using a standard Apple issue charging cord.
Apple cannot fix a hardware problem from Belkin. Belkin has already stated on their website that the Valet is not compatible with the new iPhone models.
I update my XR to the newest IOS version 12.1 and now my BELKIN POWERHOUSE CHARGER is working on my XR!
Also same problem on XS. On the Belkin community forum there is also a discussion and someone has posted their response they got from Belkin support, basically telling them too bad so sad buy the new version of the dock. I for one am not buying any new Belkin electronic products from now on. Can't trust them to work in future even if it's certified MFI.
I’ve just spent 30 minutes on live chat with Belkin and they are sending me a new charger and a discount code for the new boost up wireless charger that get released in November. Not great but at least they have recognised it is a issue.
Updated to iOS 12.1 final just a little while ago and yes it does seem to be fixed, I have only had time for a few minutes of testing. Overnight tonight will be the real test.
There is a single time that it stops charging after placing it on the dock but then comes back on and seems to stay on.

Valid point I think. As any old iPhone cable previously owned still works with my Xs Max it appears that Bellini May be the guilty party. It is surprising that Apple have allowed this type of obsolescence to be built into a product by one of their suppliers. I too will not buy another Belki product and will ensure family and friends do likewise. Skullduggery hasnt got a look in.
