Resolving com.apple.imagecapturecore error -9937

com.apple.imagecapturecore error 9937
I have gotten this error stating that a particular image (actually a MP4 video recording) during Photos import from my iPhone X for the past few months, and have been just dismissing it each time I saw it. It finally bothered me enough to look deeper into the issue and resolve the issue. So I thought I would share what I did here:
I haven't used the Image Capture application to import photos many times, but recalled that it could import photos from iOS devices. So I figured maybe I could tell more about the problem with it than with Photos. So with my iPhone X still connected to my Mac with its USB sync cable, I opened the Image Capture application on my Mac and selected the iPhone in the side bar. Then I started an import of all of my photos into a new folder on my desktop to see if Image Capture would show the same error I saw in Photos.
Sure enough, at the end of the import process, the error displayed indicating the same image (an MP4 file) failed to import. I noticed that the list of photos had green check marks next to each of the photos that successfully imported:
So I sorted the images by name and scrolled down to the problem image. Sure enough, it was listed there without a check mark. And... (drum roll)... Right-clicking it allowed me to delete it from the device!
After doing that, I no longer see any errors during import to Photos!
Problem solved. Hope this helps anyone else seeing this error.
