Who is "Homed" ?
I keep getting a window saying "Homed" wants my password after upgrading to Mohave. What the heck is this, and if it is legit, why doesn't Apple explain this better? It looks suspicious and the dickens!

Download and run Etrecheck. Copy and paste the results into your reply. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that was developed by one of the most respected users here in the ASC and recommended by Apple Support to provide a snapshot of the system and help identify the more obvious culprits that can adversely affect a Mac's performance.
These answers may work. However, it looks like the spelling from the original question was ignored. I have the pop up as well after installing Mojave and the spelling in the pop up is clearly homed. The apparent misspelling makes it look very suspicious especially when it is asking for access to my keychain.

No, I do not think the OP questions concerning "Homed" was ignored.
From ~/Library/Preferences/ you clearly have a preference file associated with the Home.app
com.apple.homed.plist
I do not use the Home.app but from Finder>Go>Go To Folder> copy and paste:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.homed.plist
I see activity non the less—

Nope and nope. Just downloaded and upgraded to Mohave and I keep getting that request in an official looking Apple window.
I don't want to use the Home app. Shouldn't it ask me for passwords after I download and try to use it?
I will try that and see if they go away. Thanks!
Nope...had the window waiting for me this morning again when I opened up the MacBook Pro.
I downloaded Mojave today and the second my computer restarted the same popup window came up...ive been on the phone will apple support for the last two hours and have gotten nothing accomplished.
Sounds like the daemon for the Home app. Part of Mojave
I unchecked the home app in system preferences under iCloud and then restarted my computer and the pop up still came up
Unchecking the box in System Prefs/iCloud does't make it go away...
