Screen flicker on iPhone XS

I do have the same Issue, I don't know if its a software or hardware issue...

Same issue on a iPhone XS, I hesitate to send him back...

thanks but i did it also and i even sent an email to Dan Riccio, SVP Hardware Engineering at Apple. They just don‘t care!

That’s how I feel. It’s sad but my opinion of Apple has disintegrated over the years. I’m so invested in their ecosystem that I’m stuck. 😞

That’s what I figured that it was a software issue. I really hope they don’t ignore all the people that have this problem. These are the most expensive iPhone they’ve ever made. Thank you.

I'm now on 12.1.2, it flickers even more dramatic.

Anyone feels the same?

It has never been fixed at least in the official version. 12.1.3 came out today, screen flickering is still present. I don't think Apple is aware of this issue yet.

I had this issue too. Very annoying!

I turned off reduce white point and I no longer have the issue. I think the flicker might occur at the point your resuce white point is set to, it was that point for me anyway.

The issue with the screen flicker was present on my iPhone XS Max 256GB Space Gray and 256GB Gold, however I am happy to say that the issue has been fixed as of yesterday on both devices with the iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1.

I too had this annoying and angering issue with a very bad flicker that got noticeable in certain lighting conditions like being in the car when the sunlight is always changing the brightness level and True Tone, but it is now fixed!

I also have this problem, had it replaced, the replaced one still has the problem. a little depressing after replacing a new phone and still have the same problem. geez not to mention the hoops that i jumped to get the replacement phone.

Apple is really going downhill, iPhone XS is the mark.

I replaced 3 times my XS and all with the same issue, then I send it to repair and come back with the same annoying thing, after this I sell it, now I have the XS Max silver from last week and of course with the same issue, I was friday in Apple store in Berlin Germany and all devices almost 20 demo units have same problem...on iPhone XR does not this maybe because is LCD and not OLED. This is my journey with the new iphone, I really love IOS and i don’t want go to Android but what is the solution, to use just iPhone XR or downgrade to iPhone 7 or 8. Is unimaginable if it is a software issue to persist from September...😐
