Code Signature Invalid - stock applications

Macbook Pro 15" 2017 with Touch Bar:

Successfully upgraded to Mojave but several apps fail to run with a code signature invalid error. The apps are Safari, Photos, News and System Preferences. All other stock apps, apps from the app store and third-party apps work fine.

I tried starting the apps different ways with the same error (shift key or right-click and open from the finder). I also tried booting in safe mode and from another guest account on the system - same error below.

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (Code Signature Invalid)

Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000032, 0x000000010cf798a9

Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Termination Reason: Namespace CODESIGNING, Code 0x2

I want to avoid a reinstall if I can, I know each of these apps (except System Prefs) are likely to get updates before I need them. Is there any other way to get these apps to run in the meantime, can I self-sign or bypass gatekeeper for a specific app?

thanks,

Mark

SOLVED - (on my system).

I was running the Sentinel One agent on this system. It is incompatible with Mojave at the moment, removing the agent from the Sentinel One console and rebooting fixed the issue. All apps working fine.

I tried a recovery install of Mojave and this did not fix the problem. I also found additional stock apps and my first third-party app also fail with the same error above.

I did upgrade an older 2016 MBP retina and this successfully completed and it does not have the same problem, but I see there are several more postings of users with the same issue today following their upgrades.

It is also possible that any app upgrades after the Mojave install will also start failing. I have upgraded two apps that did work fine in Mojave, but after the upgrade have started to fail. (the workaround does still work for them as well though).

I'm not a developer, but is it possible that Mojave just does not recognize these signed apps because its missing a certificate of key from the Keychain? I did a side by side comparison from a working to a non-working Mojave system but I'm not sure what I am looking for.
