How do I get Live photos to make sound on my Mac high Sierra?

One photo just played with sound, which amazed me. I didn't know they could. Now they all just move again, with no sound. How do I get the sound to play again? I checked that the mute is not on, the speakers are set to play on the computer, I played a YouTube video and the sound works. I hover over the Live photo and it moves; it just doesn't play sound. But I heard it once, so I know now that they do! Please help.

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

On my Mac the Live Photos are playing with sound, when I am enable the sound in Edit mode and when the volume is turned up. Is the Speaker button in Edit mode yellow like shown here?
