FCPX still does not recognize the DNxHR codec file

After installing the latest version (2.7.3) AvidCodecsLE.pkg, FCPX still does not recognize the DNxHR codec file. QT Player when trying to open the file immediately converts it to H264. Interestingly, Apple Compressor and Resolve correctly opens the file. Where is the problem?

Final Cut Pro X, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

iMovie / QT compatibility with AAC- HEVC video files hello, unable to open a video downloaded from a webinar plateform (AAC, HEVC) with QT or iMovie. QT says : "file contains some content that are not compatibles with QT". When open, the file seems to be only audio... But VLC can handle the video. Why does iMovie export .mp4 that QuickTime won't play? I exported a movie that I made using iMovie and the file it produced was an mp4, but when I double click the file to play it, it says "The file isn't compatible with QuickTime Player". I don't have any problem playing other mp4 files, so why does Apple's own software produce a file that the computer won't play? thanks!

iMovie Export file to mp4 using Monterey and iMovie 10.3.2. Have recently exported 3 movies to mp4 files. Now 4th movie get failed message. Tried many times but get this - Error: RequestCVPixelBufferForFrame returned: 3 for absolute frame: 40085. (Absolute frame number usually varies with each failure). How to I overcome such a problem? Grateful for help with this. Thanks

The tech specs for FCP don’t show Avid codecs supported in the application.
