Login screen appears before apple logo at startup

I updated MacOS Mojave a couple of days ago, performing a clean install. Since then every time I start my computer login screen appears first and I type my password. A progress bar is getting filled and when it reaches 50-75% screen goes dark for a moment and then apple logo appears with the progress bar underneath. That is a weird behaviour since it used to do the opposite with all the previous os (Sierra, High Sierra). Any ideas for a fix or is this normal?

I apologise for my English, it's not my first language.
