A lot of people are having issues with library relocation, if you just browse recent posts in this forum. Since this functionality is new, it has bugs. Although, in all honesty, they shouldn't have released a half-baked update.
Any chance it’s a new addition to the advanced feature preferences that needs to be enabled?
I thought in my case it was greyed out because some time ago I had relocated the /Library/Audio and /Library/Application Support/Logic folders to an external drive and pointed to them with symbolic links. That's been working fine (as long as I remember to have the drive mounted, of course).
I only looked after thinking I might put everything back where it belongs and relocate what it will with this new functionality.
Anyway, I just noticed that hovering over the greyed out menu item yields this info:
Funny, everything works, and the Sound Library Manager shows everything installed. 😕
me too
No
Ahhh yes I did the same attempted to move the libraries an external and creating symbolic links.. supposed I need to find all the folders and delete them to fix the issue I’ll try that and report back.
