Mail Subfolder Notifications

Hi,

iPhone 6s, Updated to ios12. Using Mail with Exchange Push. After update to ios12, emails that get straight to subfolders don’t appear in notifications. Only those coming to Inbox.

any ideeas? It’s very frustrating to have clients call you telling you they sent you an email 2 days ago!!! 😟((

Can you get notifications for new mail in inbox subfolders in the Mail app on iOS? I've got a combination of "plus addressing" (myemail+somewebsite@mydomain.com) with my email server making a new subfolder off my inbox automatically for any plus-addressed email, using the plus-bit as the subfolder name (e.g. if I got an email to myemail+apple@mydomain.com, it would go into the "apple" folder inside my Inbox). I use this as one more way to try to identify when my email has been sold/etc and to ensure I prioritize email that I need to read over "this can be read at leisure", but I'd still like to get notifications about mail sent to subfolders. Apparently you can work around this issue by adding -all- the created folders to your favorite folder list, but that seems a bit... excessive - I'd rather have a custom box (similar to "All Inboxes") that shows that accounts inbox and all subfolders, ideally automatically including any new subfolders that get created. Is there a way to do this?

Iphone mail not showing notifications Hi, I have rules in my mail app that moves incoming mails to specific folders as soon they arrive. The problem is that in my iPhone I am not getting notifications when a new email arrives. I have to open the mail app in the iPhone to see if there is new emails. I noted that this issue is only present for those folders that get the emails depending the rules, the emails without rules or the one that arrive to the incoming box and are not moved to another folder are triggering notifications. Is this a normal behavior or is there a setting to get notifications even when a email moves to a specific folder following the rule settings? Best regards Americo

Receiving iOS notifications for Outlook folders I have setup rules in my Outlook for emails to automatically get sent to a specific folder. But when that email comes in on my iPad or iPhone, I don't receive a notification, and will miss emails at times. I found a thread on here addressing this from 2013, but the answers are for old Outlook and iOS, and the options they say to use aren't even there to be picked any more. (I check emails on my iPad and iPhone 95% of the time)

So... i have come to the conclusion that it is an ios12 problem. Tried different email apps (Outlook, Spark) and the problem is the same. Downgraded to ios11 and the problem dissapeared.

My issues now remain with email notifications and strange iMessage problems like not showing the history and then reappearing after reboot.

Hope Apple reads this and launches a 12.1 release to solve these problems as Mail, Notifications and Messages are my main client communication means!!!
