Cannot sync iCloud drive to macbook

I had to downgrade my macbook to yosemite and now iCloud won't sync anymore. I can still use it on my iphone, and see all my files on iCloud.com. On my macbook in Finder, there are no files in iCloud Drive, Notes isn't working, and my reading list in safari shows nothing as well.

I have tried to log back in, do a restart, but nothing has helped so far. Any thoughts?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Hello I have the same problem... but in my case I used to had Yosemite ((AND IT WAS WORKING GOOD I MEAN ICLOUD, ITUNES ETC.... BUT IT WASNT LOADING THAT FAST THE APPS) And I upgraded to high sierra to see if that was better but THAT WAS MY BIGGEST MISTAKE and because I have a macbook pro late 2011 was running very slowwwwer than before. So I decided to install again Yosemite... and I have the same problem as you do NOW! I contacted to apple support and they only could offer an Upgrade.... I am still looking for a solution... because if it was going good before and I just needed to clean the HD ...

In conclusion

Apparently Apple wants to forcely make the update to their users .... ;(

If anyone can help please let me know I use CS6 Adobe and I can't upgrade !!!!
