Powerbeats 3 Shutting Off mid-workout

I found a thread on this earlier, but it appears it has been archived...My Powerbeats3 headphones completely shut-off about 15 minutes into my workout. It is NOT sweat related. They don't just un-pair, they completely shut off and will NOT restart for a few hours; it is the most bizarre electronics issue I have ever encountered, and I am reading on forums that I am not the only one, so apparently this is an inherent manufacturing flaw. This is primarily when paired to my Peloton spin cycle. They didn't do it when I tried with iTunes on my iPhone (although I usually use my Bose QC35II's when listening to music), however when accessing the Peloton app on my iPad when on the road using the hotel gym, they've shut-off. Just returned the 3rd pair. Apple support has been very responsive, although this last time they just returned my malfunctioning pair, saying they couldn't duplicate the problem with an iPhone (apparently they didn't read the case notes). Using the chat feature, they usually have a return shipping box on my front step within a day FedEx Overnight Express, and I put the headphones in the box, call FedEx and they come get them right away. The turn-around usually takes less than a week. At this point, I'd jump at the chance to get a credit towards something else, as there is nothing more frustrating than having your workout botched a third of the way into it. I've tried resetting using the updater on my computer to no avail. Ideas?
