Redeeming movie codes

Lionsgate movies (save for Lincoln Lawyer which availed an iTunes-specific code, and MANY others (at least 4-other distributors - I have a list) through Movies Anywhere flowing to iTunes and ITunes (itself), simply won’t redeem. So, I have some HDX/4K movies in iTunes and most in VUDU. This was not how I planned it.

Also, not all of my 4K HDR films like “RED SPARROW” and “Prometheus” showed

up as 4K in iTunes, as promised. They offered upgrades to 4K and ATMOS as of 9/21/18, but even if I have the free 4K-upgrade offer wrong, my downloads (that were “accepted” by iTunes) were from (native) 4K HDR purchases!

I like how iTunes has evolved, but VUDU has become (by default) my favourite and largest library (with 4K HDR & ATMOS, as well). I wanted ONE iTunes library with ALL my movies, but this has been a cluster-f#€K.

VUDU has offered a disc to download offer on all my remaining Blu’s to be converted to “digital” for $2.00 each! For example: World War Z was offered as an “Unrated” 122min download, but what I got was the 115min “Theatrical” release! I called and everyone blames someone else and passes the buck. $2 via VUDU and my problems are gone — but that’s at least a $100 worth of problems — and iTunes has no competing offer.

I have at least 24 codes that are “SOLID” and STILL won’t redeem ANYWHERE. Yes, I could play in the gray areas, but why? Especially when I did EVERYTHING by the book, and I’m still forced to jump through hoops....

All constructive advice is appreciated. I’m a physical disc (Immersive Audio/Surround-sound enthusiast & 4K Blu/Blu ATMOS/X movie) guy, but since I had some time and MANY, MANY CODES, I thought I’d try it out.

I’m, honestly, not impressed one bit! My 4K “Blade Runner” supplementals (extras) just buffered and dropped tonight in iTunes. In that same time, I could have loaded the 4K disc and watched half the movie!

Movies Anywhere is a start, but iTunes should accept ALL CODES.
