Compressor 4.4.1 crash on start in Mohave

Since installing 10.14 on mu 2018 MacBook Pro my compressor crashes on starting up the program. It is the latest version of compressor and there seems to be no crash reporting going on so I wonder if you guys can tell me what to do?

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018), macOS Mojave (10.14)

Compressor was not working for me after I installed Mojave on my 2017 MacBook Pro. I tried a variety of things in an effort to resolve the issue including deleting the .plist files associated with Compressor. Nothing worked... Until I did the following:

  1. Move the Compressor app to the Trash
  2. Open the App Store
  3. Type "Compressor" in the search field of the App Store
  4. Download a fresh copy of Compressor
  5. Launch Compressor


Now Compressor is working again!
