Cannot click on any apps on iPhone X / stuck on Facetime call / wont turn off

My iPhone X will not let me click on any applications. It is stuck on the FT call that I canceled. In the past, I could go to settings and turn off my phone, but in this case, I cannot even click into my settings. I also cannot click the side buttons to turn off.

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. If I understand your post, after ending a FaceTime call, your iPhone X has become unresponsive. You're not able to access any applications, so you can't get into Settings to restart from there, and the Side Button does not allow you to restart, either. I'm happy to help!
