FaceTime Freezing OSx
No matter who I call or what network I am connected to (home or at the office, 5ghz, 2.4ghz, hotspot, etc.) video freezes on very first frame every time with every person (yes different people on different networks...WiFi, AT&T, Verizon, etc.)
It doesn't matter if I call them or they call me, when the connection is made we both get crystal clear audio at both ends, they get crystal clear video of me and I get only the very first frame of the video of them and then it just freezes on that frame for the entire conversation.
So far I've only tried restarting, rebooting, there was even an update available so I tried that and still nothing....
Things I have not tried are using a hard line and booting in safe mode, I will try and report back, but for now it seems to be more a software issue, the hardware seems to work fine, we both have audio and they have the video and I get that first frame which is basically a still shot of them consistently every time.
