My purchased music won’t play on my phone.

Hi all.

I’m putting this up here because I’ve pretty much given up everything else.

I have songs on my phone that I have paid for, but at random times pressing play or the song title sends me to Apple Music.

I do not want Apple Music. I don’t have it. Now I want it even less as it seems to try to force me into having it because otherwise I can’t play random songs.

This particular song played just fine until today. Now when I want to put it in line to “play next”, I get sent to Apple Music. This happens repeatedly. It is always songs I KNOW I have bought and paid for.

The songs are still available in the store.

Thank you for all good tips and suggestions.

Hi and thank you.

Sadly this doesn’t help much. However, did you mean go to iTunes on a computer or phone? The iPhone doesn’t have “more”. I think I know what you mean in the store. The problem isn’t that I can’t find the music - it still plays if I don’t want to create a list by pressing ‘play next’ or ‘play later’. The problem is the system trying to send me to Apple Music which I do not want or have.
