Why do I get a message after I write a question that I am not allowed to add or start new content to a community, or a post. I forget the exact language, but I could not figure out what I did wrong.

Typically you will have tried so make a post into a container like iPhone instead of one of the forums it contains like Using iPhone.

Either of these get rid of the banner and the need to ask to display everything.

There is a lot of information in your link and I am very grateful to have it. Thankyou. I had not been active in the Apple Support Communities for a couple of years and didn't get in on the changing status of how to communicate. I really appreciate your taking the time to post.
