XS Max screen easy to scratch

Is anyone else finding that their xs max has a very soft screen? I already have a bunch of hairline scratches on my new iphone. I baby my devices and yet within a couple of weeks my screen is full of marks.

I have a year old 8plus that I have used for the last year and it looks like brand new. I never use screen protectors as I am super careful, yet my new phone looks like it is 3 years old. I upgrade yearly and this is the first time I have had visible marks like this in several years.

Anyone else having this same issue?

No - scratches are user-caused damage.

Google and Samsung don't do anything about screen scratches, either.

This is exactly what I got for my iPhone Xs Max in a week. I got my phone just about a week, today I noticed a scratch already, this never happened to my iPhone 7 Plus in more than 2 years.
