WiFi roaming
Hello,
is there any chance to set up the sensitivity of the WiFi roaming (switching from one AP to another depending of signal strength)? I think I noticed that in the past but I can't find it anymore.
thx ervau

That has never been a feature. iPhones will stay on the current Wi-Fi network until the connection is lost. It will the search and, if there are multiple networks that it has connected to in the past, it will choose the strongest. It's rare for it to find more than one known network. You can use the Control Center to disconnect from the current network; just tap the Bluetooth button and it will disconnect, then if there is another network it knows about it will connect to it.

If you've got several access points you should consider getting a mesh network. The phone will switch seamlessly to the nearest/strongest.
Thx Lawrence for you reply.
To have a better WiFi signal all over my house I have installed several APs. Compared with my notebooks my iPhone & iPad are glued to on AP (as you described) until they loose signal from one AP although there is an AP with better signal near. But when there is no chance to change that behaviour it's ok anyway. I thought I have seen some setting in the past; maybe it was with my old Nokia😕.
thx again

That's what I have installed and that's the goal.
What I had in my mind was to force the devices to switch over sooner.
