Apple Music 'Explicit' Restriction error in Iphone XS

Hi All,

I recently purchased an iPhone XS and been using it for few weeks. Recently noticed that whenever I try to play an 'explicit' song from Apple music, it is asking me to change the 'restrictions' for it. Which I do follow as asked.

But the problem arises that even with allowing explicit content in music, my apple music fails to detect the change in setting and doesn't play any 'E' listed songs.

I use the same apple music subscription on my mac and don't get any similar problems.

Any solution?

iPhone XS, iOS 12.0.1

Settings>ScreenTime>Content&Privacy Restrictions>Contents Restrictions>... Check every settings.

If in Music.... "E" is already ON, try to set the other option. Close settings, then restart your iPhone.

Then go back to the same music setting and set "Explicit" to ON.

See if this can give you any improvement.

Giulio
