Mojave update alchemy issue cpu over9000

when I try to use alchemy after this update it just @ssr@pe my cpu which never happened in high Sierra
and I can't use the plug in at all

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017), macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)

Logic Pro X - Mojave Since I did the update to Mojave from High Sierra I now got huge problems with the CPU in Logic Pro X. It ran smooth before the update... Even with only a few plugins active some of the cores max out. Tried the usual stuff (Buffer size, Processing threads, Buffer range, etc) but it's not doing anything. 11.4 to 11.5.2 taking very long time 2 hours and counting... 2020 13" MacBook Pro Intel chip currently on 11.4. I just kicked off the 11.5.2 update and it's been several hours and still not complete, even though it shows 10 minutes to complete (and has since the start of the update). No other apps open. I've closed every app and background app that I can, except for Sophos. Activity Monitor is showing the update consuming 100% CPU. I've had cold full macOS installs take less time than this. I've never had a minor update take this long.

Serious CPU slowdown problem which crashes Protools If any of you can help me interpret my Etrecheck results and maybe see if you can help find what the culprit is which causes my Protools DAW to crash from low CPU power. I will be forever grateful.

That's not good... hard to tell what's going... we need more input from early adopters to see if it's affecting everyone, at least to some extent.
