How can I get the Legacy Instruments in GarageBand Ver.10 and Up?

This is - to be frank - my first time owning a MacBook Air. My dad and I bought it so I can pursue making videogame music well into college, and hopefully even after. The one issue is some of the specific sounds I’ve used in Music Technology classes at school aren’t included on the version on my new MacBook. The specific sound I‘m trying to get my hands on is the Big Electric Lead Guitar, under Legacy Instruments. However the Legacy Instruments option isn’t even there? Help, and thank you in advance. =]

The Legacy section of sounds is from earlier versions of GarageBand, Garageband '09 or '11.

I got most of these older Legacy sounds installed by purchasing MainStage 3. It installed plenty of older JamPacks and the older GarageBand instruments. But that has been two years ago. I am not sure, if it still is working on the current system.

After I purchased MainStage 3 it gave me the option to download and install selected packages. One of them were the older GarageBand sounds. But it did not list the names of individual sounds.I am having the sound installed, that you are looking for, but I have used GarageBand since it first came out.

Pardon, but when you bought mainstage, did it give you that specific sound I inquired about? That “Big Electric Lead” Guitar?
