google drive filestream icon preview

Currently, Finder view is set up to not show icon preview:

However, when I go into GoogleDriveFS folders, the icon previews still show. Google themselves said ask Apple about a fix to this:

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, 4 TBT3), macOS Mojave (10.14)

This is pretty annoying because these icons have somehow changed size to be very small and I haven't found a fix for this. Finder icon view only displays a single column In my finder, for certain folders, it will only display a single column of icons, regardless of icon size or grid spacing. Even if I extend the finder window all the way across the screen, there's a single column of icons. Is there any way to get this to present in a grid? Some folders will show a grid of icons, but some folders don't.

finder: copy and paste icon does not work like before bigsur hi, i am not sure, why i cannot copy and paste my icons in the "get info" window in finder, for example a external ssd or external harddiscs anymore - before big sur, it worked smooth and i had plenty of customized icons on the discs. thanks
