Applecare+ and External Enclosure Damage

Hello all!

I am wondering if I can get some feedback from the community before I go off to Apple support (I am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience).

I bought AppleCare+ for my Macbook Pro 13 a while back, and just last night, I dropped a jaw of honey on the F2 key (gasp)!!!

Therefore, the F2 key (and a bit of the '3' key) are slightly recessed. Still fully useable for typing/changing brightness, but there's is a slight dent.

I am wondering if this would qualify for the "Tier 1" $99 service fee for "external enclosure damage"? I can't justify spending more than $99 to get my laptop back to its pristine condition, although for $99, I may consider.
