Converting a Numbers document to PDF using Automator

I am on High Sierra and trying to create an Automator workflow/folderaction/application [not sure which is best] to convert a bunch of Numbers documents to separate PDFs.

I found an AppleScript at - https://iworkautomation.com/numbers/document-export.html - but couldn't get it to work right = it did fine when it asked for a password but when I changed it to false it no longer worked. And I don't understand Apple Script enough to edit the script to work.

I prefer to use Automator if possible and know I can Run AppleScript within it = so how do I get the AS [editted correctly] into automator and useful? Basically I have 12-20 documents to convert to PDF and can click-drag over to a folder or use Get Specified Files but then I am lost.

You've tried clicking 'No Password' when the script prompts?

I suspect AppleScript will be more efficient at this than putting AppleScript in an Automator script, which is adding an extra layer.

Assuming you have 100 documents or so to convert, and you really feel you need automation beyond that offered in the script to which you have linked, then you might want to consider posting your question in this area.

Couple of questions--

Why do want to use Automator rather than an AppleScript?

If you have only 20 documents or so wouldn't it be faster to just open each one and File > Export to > PDF ... ? At most that would take 10 minutes or so, less than the time it would take to fiddle with a script and get it working.

As I said, I don't know how to use AppleScript nor, frankly, do I want to learn - I can use and learn Automator - tho I am not a power user. And, yes it would be easier to just open and export to PDF = I know that - I can do that. I am trying to find a way to do a group of 20 once and then a larger group later perhaps. I found that AppleScript [the link I posted] but couldn't make it work right [without having to have a password] - if I can figure out how to put together an Automator action I could perhaps learn more about how to work with that program.
