Temperature question

Just a quick question. I have a 2009 4,1 upgraded to 5,1 Mac Pro. These are the temperature readings I am getting. I am regulating the fan speeds for boost a and b because otherwise they run at full speed most of the time. My question is, are these readings normal? Everything seems abnormally high to me? Thanks!

Platform Controller Hub Die Temp. My MacBook Pro 16" fan has been running more than usually. I check iStat Menu Temps and find that my Platform Controller Hub Die Temp is 160.° I checked 30 day history and from Aug 22 to Sept 18 temp averaged about 135°. From Sept 18 to present Temp is averaging 155°. Has there been an update to create this increase? Will the temp revert to normal?

Mac Pro 5,1 heating my Mac Pro 5,1 reach temperatures of 118 Celsius on the "Northbridge diode" under emulator work. (checked with fan control) is this normal?

Hi yevgeniystupak! If these readings are Fahrenheit, then this is normal. Computer parts such as the CPU(s) and the ECC ram in your Mac Pro get very hot, so if these are indeed Fahrenheit, you have nothing to be worried about. However, If these readings are Celcius, then you may have a severe temp issue.
