I got my iphone XS Max 3 days ago. The glass on the unit was already cracked. but because I received my delivery by mail, I do not get any warranty or repair! I wonder how Apple are able to solve this error that was already known on the X models?
Same issue here. My XS Mas is 3 days old. Been in a case since i bought it. Actually still have the original plastic on the back so there is no pitting from dirt or dust getting back there. I noticed last night (end of day 2) that there was a small chip/crack to the right of the microphone and a very faint hairline crack going to the LED flash. Not happy after paying $1200 and getting this type of quality! Taking it back to Verizon to get a replacement and we'll see how that goes.
Is this cracked lens issue covered by apple care?
Maybe change yo android? I got the same problem and the same answer for exactly the same problem.
If you purchased from Apple, you have two weeks to get your money back.
I just noticed yesterday is cracked on mine too. I've had my phone 4 months. I'm definitely doomed. I'm not paying no $600 to fix that is absurd. I'll deal with it until my upgrade...

Same thing happened to my phone. Camera glass broke without any reasons. I never dropped this device either get any impact on it. Really disappointed about this flaw. :(
How do you have 2 weeks to return if the product shows signs of damage? Apple will cover for a single hairline crack with no sign of impact.

Incorrect. A refund was refused The store manager said that since the phone was "damaged" he would not accept it. I had to pay for an exchange out of pocket.
not true . I brought mine back to the apple store only 3 days after purchase and they would not let me return it with the crack .

I had same problem as many others with cracked lens, if you have Apple Care then will cost you 99$ in Canada otherwise $780
It's a shame as so many people are having same problem, good luck!
With AppleCare it cost me 100 usd to replace the phone . They don’t repair it in this case.
