Uninstall McAfee. It's not needed and can cause problems obviously.

ok, so now I have fixed it, in addition to unintalling with MacAffe uninstall software in programs you need to delete all asociated files in system files, the it works
Thank you, I have used the uninstall instructions, the do mot appear anymore, but the safari browser do not load the websites, the block remain. It allhappened sfter autoiupdate where McAffee reinstalled and ran the security check
as said before uninstalling McAffee did not unblock the internet Connection, there is some inhibit left on the Imac
+ 1 on uninstallng MacAffee. Locate the developers instructions to uninstall and follow them.
Mac OS is extremely secure and does not benefit by having third party anti virus apps installed. The same goes for cleaning apps, or other third party "maintenance" apps. If simply kept up-to-date Mac OS will continue to remain extremely secure and for most people run well for many years.
When users begin adding apps that potentially modify and damage Mac OS such as MacAffee that is when it begins having problems.
