iCloud Music Library “Uploaded” songs missing

Hello,


I‘ven experienced several (and way too many) problems with my iTunes Library, which forced me to completely reinstall the app and afterwards delete all of my alrady downloaded iCloud Music Library songs and download them again since iTunes didn’t recognize them. Now, the problem is that all of the songs labeled as “Uploaded” no longer play (they are being skipped over to the next song), even though they all appear as downloaded and can all be found on Apple Music. Since we’re talking about nearly 4,000 songs, it’s almost impossible for me to download all of them again (and return each one to its designated playlist).


What can be done in order to return all of those lost songs to my library without selecting each and every one of them? I’m completely helpless.

Ideally you would have backed up your iTunes library before making changes. Reinstalling iTunes shouldn't have affected your library. Are you seeing tracks with exclamation marks? These indicate where the file isn't at its expected location. You may find that you can right-click > Remove download, then download a fresh copy with the cloud icon. Assuming that works you can select groups and do them in batches.
