iTunes only loads the store page.

I've been having issues with trying to open the "Browse" and "For you" pages on iTunes for a while now. It just shows a blank page for me no matter what i do. The store, however, loads just fine without a problem. It used to load but slowly, cuz i tend to run it whenever i have Photoshop on as well a few other things that eat the the ram, so that might be a bit off a stopper, BUT it LOADED eventually. Now it just stays blank without anything happening regardless on what i run it with or without. And it is getting on my nerves, cuz I've got a music streaming subscription (and also do buy stuff on there) , and frankly use that a lot on a daily basis , but i haven't been able to for the past month or so.

My iMac (it's a late 2013 one) seems to be running on a fairly old OS (10.9 or something), but it wasn't a problem until recently. However, now when i think about it, i haven't had any updates notifications in a while. Could that be a problem that affects the app and all i need to do is to upgrade? Or is there something else there? All of my other usual apps seem to be running just fine. Only iTunes appear to have an issue here.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or ideas on what the **** is wrong?

See About App Store and iTunes Store availability - Apple Support for possible issues running older versions of iTunes or OS X.

Try booting into safe mode to see if that unsticks anything.

Try reinstalling your current version of iTunes, or the latest version supported by your Mac. See iTunes for Mac installers for links.
