The blur effect in FCPX not working!!

Hi community,

I'm currently working on fcpX for some project. And this is the very old problem I'm facing when using the software. Actually, When I drag and drop the gaussian blur (or any other blur), there is no effect on the clip. I hover on effects section in inspector area and nothing happens !!
