Just upgraded to Mojave and can no longer sync photos through iTunes. The option to sync from my photo library is no longer there. Only option available is my 'Pictures Folder' and within that folder in iTunes the photo library app is greyed out.

I just upgraded my MacBook Pro to Mojave and I am now unable to manually sync photos to my iPad or my iPhone 6 using iTunes. Both my devices are using latest IOS 12.0.1. After connecting with a USB cable and selecting device/photos/sync - the only folder options available to sync from is a 'Pictures' folder or 'Choose folder'. There is no longer an option to select 'Photos' as I'm sure there was with High Sierra.

If I select 'Choose Folder' all I see are three empty folders that I have in my Pictures folder, that contain no photos, with the Photos Library and the Photo Booth Library greyed out and unable to be selected.

I have successfully sync'd photos this way for many months with my previous High Sierra but since I upgraded to Mojave it appears that iTunes no longer recognizes the Photos Library as a folder to sync from. I have thousands of photographs and prefer to sync manually rather than through iCloud.

I've tried several tips I found in older threads on this site and others but none apply to my issue. Does anybody know if this is a Mojave issue or advise me what I am doing wrong. Thanks

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 12.0.1
