Since the latest update, I no longer receive my texts via Bluetooth. I cannot have them read to me and have to check and read off my phone while driving. Everything worked normal until I updated my phone to iOS 12.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Tap Your Car > Tap the little circle with the i in it. Tap Turn On Notifications
Have you rebooted your phone since you updated iOS last? I don't mean power off then on, I mean a reboot.
If that doesn't work, try Reset Network Settings. You'll have to reenter Wifi passwords again, but that might help as well.
Then try Reset Network Settings as your next step.
At this point you might want to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let them run diagnostics.

I’ve turned off and on. I’ve also tried I think a reboot... volume up, volume down then held power button.
Ok. Just tried that and still nothing. I’m noticing too that I get no sound when I type and no sound notification on my phone either when hooked to Bluetooth while in my truck.
