Since the new update to iBooks, I can’t navigate.

Since the new update to iBooks, I can’t navigate. I hate this new update. I’m trying to see all my docs and it’s stuck on some invoice. I close it down and open and it’s there again. The menus show at the beginning in a flash and immediately goes back to the invoice. I’m so frustrated. I try to pinch it, scroll it to no avail.....help?

Tapping on the actual document/pdf should bring up the top menu < to enable you to navigate back to the library.
