Trackpad and Mojave (no scroll)

I had recently upgraded my MBP Late 2013 to Mojave, and my trackpad stopped scrolling. After much digging for help, I found this to fix my issue.

Search the /users/(yourloginname)/Library/Preferences directory for the followingplistfiles and deletethem.

  • apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist – Apple Magic mouse
  • apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist – USB mouse
  • apple.driver.AppleMultitouchTrackpad.plist – Magic Trackpad
  • apple.AppleMultitouchTrackpad.plist – Mac Trackpad
  • apple.AppleMultitouchTrackpad.plist – Mac Trackpad

Then a reboot after deleting these files, all trackpad functionality returned. Hope this helps.
