Transferring my iTunes content to new Mac

I have a new MacBook Pro. I want to transfer my extensive iTunes library from my 2015 Mac desktop to my new Macbook Pro. I do NOT want to subscribe to Apple Music! I have had it before and it was a pain in the arse. When I buy a CD, I load it to my computer and put it on my iPad and my iPhone. But I am slowly not using the desktop anymore and simply want to update iTunes on my iPad and iPhone with my new MacBook Pro. But how to get all those CD's that I have painstakingly loaded on to my desktop to simply transfer to the new MacBook Pro? Anyone know?
