Sometimes the text notification I receive are distorted on my iOS 12

I i’m having the same problem on my iPhone 8+ !

This happens with my iPhone X as well. It’s been going on for months. It’s not every text but when it happens it’s like the alert gets stuck and goes on and on like a broken record.

This is my 3rd Iphone 7 and all of them had this problem of inconsistence...

Yes, my problem is mostly when a friend with an Android phone sends a message to my iPhone. Very rarely is it iPhone to iPhone.

I’m hoping this gets fixed too, it happens most of the time on my phone when it is locked as well and I close out my apps constantly.

You're right! Had just the problem of distorted notifications again. Have the update 12.1.4. Why are they not able to solve this? I don't get. Who of Apple reads this anyway?

they don't fix it but they sure can delete posts

... And you should be okay if you've backed up everything to iCloud, as well. By the way, I have the latest update which is 12.1.4

I’ve tried that, nothing works. The issue needs to be fixed with a software update.

This new iPhone XR has the same issue with the default text tone. Sometimes it is choppy and staticky when I receive multiple or single messages.

I been having this issue as well like the ring tone gets stuck, echos and wont shut off unless i check the message
